Who are we and why did we start Hampshire Bridal Boot Sale?


We are event and marketing agency What Peggy Did Next. Three gals with a passion for discovering local talent, who love a good challenge!

Way back in Spring 2012, two marketing and communication specialists hit upon an idea to help other brides. With Karen about to get married, and Sarah busy collecting and curating for her own wedding, it felt like there should be an easier way to hunt for treasures and trinkets. It takes a certain level of commitment and a whole lot of time to search out the best car boots and charity shops (if you want to know which just give us a shout!) for a DIY wedding and what the hell do you do with it all afterwards?


And so the concept of Hampshire Bridal Boot Sale was born.


We create events as unlike a traditional wedding fair as possible, with most of our sellers being newlyweds selling on preloved wedding wares. Sprinkle in a handful of carefully selected wedding suppliers to provide the finishing touches, add tea and cake, a spot of music and great DIY tutorials, and you get the picture.


Helen joined Sarah and Karen as part of the team in early 2013, bringing her vast event management experience, and to help us grow into other counties.
